LED bulbs
I have a 2000 Aspencade special edition and would like to change my headlight, position lights and running light to LED. I want to do this myself , so I need a plug & play. What companies do you recommend and will they fit my metal locks for the bulbs or do I need to get different metal locks for the bulbs. What do you have and how hard to put in??? Do you like them better than OEM ??
Thank you !!
Thank you !!

Re: LED bulbs
Is the stock bulb a H4? If yes I have LED H4 bulb you can have.
I changed all bulbs over to LEDs on my GL1000. Love the brightness, longevity and increased charging capability.

Did you look at the link I posted for you to get what you need??
You have your part to do when you ask a question on forums, and that is to respond afterwards, not leaving your posts hanging unfinished. If you don't respond, as your habit on this forum here has been since your joining, you don't help others that use the search tools looking for help which is why people join forums and groups but each has to do their part to help the next person that comes along. Do your part to keep this great forum growing helping one another. Step up to the plate and not just be a bystander.
Or are you expecting everyone to just write out a new response each time even though there's already a whole lot of information on the subject at hand that has been written?

Re: LED bulbs
The GL1500s do require H4 headlight bulbs but, the 1988 through 2000 must have a shim to make them fit properly. I think the shims are available from Cycle Max. I replaced my headlights with H4 LED bulbs that are a direct replacement without the extra wiring and ballast. You can email Brett Beisker at TWELVOLT LED 7 HID and he can give you the info I used to replace mine. BRETT@TWELVOLTLEDHID.COM. He is in Orange Park, Florida. I really like them although I haven't ridden much after dark. I replaced them about a year ago and they are still very bright. As for the other bulbs you should be able to find those LEDs at your local auto parts store when you get them apart.

Re: LED bulbs
Thank you ! I will contact him and I guess I'll pull the other bulbs and see what I can come up with to put in LED's. I was trying to figure out what I needed before tearing down so my bike would not be down very long, but wanted to get this done before winter and having to drive in the dark more. Thank you !
