weird electrical problem

Post by moggie1300 »

I recently had a problem with 3 out of 4 rear lights not working and cruise not setting. I had really good advice from a couple of guys and I thank them for the positive input. However, the problem was not quite where I thought which was in the junction box under the seat. It was, in fact, the plug under the front brake. Cleaned it up, problem solved. It just goes to show that a bad ground really screws your life up. If this helps anyone else then job done. Again many thanks for the assistance :D

This is exactly why we appreciate knowing the "end of the story" some of us can learn something now as well as if anyone that has the problem later.
Try to learn from the mistakes of others..... you won't live long enough to make them all yourself!
