Replacement MPH/RPM Gauge Faces for '99 Aspencade

Post by zeoran »

I would like to replace the white gauges on my 99 Aspencade. Anytime around dawn or dusk they become literally unreadable. I'm presuming that if I can find the black gauge faces themselves, I should be able to just swap them out and be good to go. I'll probably swap all my internal bulbs for LED's at the same time. But I can't seem to find where to get the replacement gauge faces themselves. Any ideas?

God bless,

~Mark

Or a newer wing! They switched back to dark faced gauges for the last model year, 2000.

Is there a good location where I can get just the black faces for the gauges on the 2000 wing? All the places I've looked so far only sell the entire instrument panel and it's expensive. I only need the faces themselves.

God bless,

~Mark

I don't think those were ever made available as parts - only the entire instrument cluster.

do what I did for the '98SE, those WHITE GAUGES are the worst idea ever on a bike or truck. I had a '98 Dodge truck with that fancy idea of White Gauges.... Horrible mistake, had the same exact problem with it also. in Twilight, they are invisible, under Vapor glare lights, they are Invisible.

So, I found a set of black gauges on eBay and pulled the face plates off to use on my gauges.

Thank you for the suggestion!

I've contacted Jay and not only does he have a set, he's willing to trade me for my white gauges... (must be something wrong with him) ;-)

God bless,
