Highly unlikely. Go to Bluetooth headsets.
Other functions will likely be lost too as much of the stock LCD readouts are run through the stock radio. I didn't take the time to watch all the videos so there may some work around procedures in them???

The developer and manufacturer, Hans Vuckovic, states that EAGLE 1500 fits all GW1 500 1988-2000.Fiberthree wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 3:44 pm I nteresting. Any idea if the factory intercom still functions?
Only original cables are used without plug mounting.
The intercom and CB radio don't work anymore.

Re: THE EAGLE 1500 HAS LANDED !!
From what I understand, the first version didn't have Intercom/CB compatibility, but Hans now has Version 3.0 which has Intercom, not sure about CB.
I have a CB on my 2000 1500 Wing, and on my 1999 1500 Valkyrie Interstate. I don't use either one.
Up her in the NY/NJ area there are so many Truckers just rambling on and on about nothing. I just turn the CB off.

I belong to club which uses CB on the road constantly.
Just about everyone in the club has a CB, and we use
the CB to keep the group together on the road.
We don't talk to the truckers since we don't use channel 19.

Re: THE EAGLE 1500 HAS LANDED !!
I'm a truck driver and don't use a CB when im driving , so not having it on the bike is OK with me .as far as the intercom the radio is blue tooth so that solves that problem . I've found I don't even need the intercom when riding .
