Hi,
I have the shock off and got the old seal out. I used a drift punch and pushed the old seal in a bit and then was able to get the circlip out. The pumped oil in and blew it out.
But what i didn't do was notice the order of the parts. With the shock in my vise upside down, is it seal, backup ring and circlip? And which way does the seal go in?
Thanks,
Bud.

I think you're talking about the air shock absorber...
