GL1500 left side squeak

Post by golden highway »

I have a squeak on the left side of my GL1500 when the motor is running. The squeak has a rhythm that doesn’t change with the engine speed. It’s not very loud and hasn’t changed it two years or so. Any ideas?

How about making a video to capture the sound and pinpoint the area it is at.

Save a paper towel tube, use it as open air stethoscope.
