Now that i got the pilot screw out, I've found that the vacuum membrane is ruined, it has several openings.
Any of you know a good reliable source were to get some new ones?? I mean besides China.

Thank you Rambozo, my only concern is the # shown in the box which is different at the one searched, must find if it's same. It states it's for Gl Valquirie, may be same part with other number.
Tomorrow I'll call local Honda and find it out.
My other choice will be Partzilla, never bought anything from them. ¿¿...??

Sorry about that, I didn't notice that the search results didn't match what I typed in.
Valkyrie is totally different.
I have bought a lot of stuff from Partszilla with no issues.

Partzilla is a great source.

one thing they do, may irk some folks.

they typically hold the full order until they get in all of the parts you want...
they have a big warehouse for sure, but they don't always have it in stock.

I have never once, had an issue with Partzilla, other than wishing it got "here a lot faster",
and now, with our freight shipments being delayed with the current environmental climate, the delays are longer.


Just this past Saturday, I received a 1st Class mailing from my Insurance Company which was Post Marked January 4th, and I received it on March 27th.

My daughter is a Rural Mail carrier, and I was already aware of delays with the U.S. Mail, and it is not all their fault, it is Covid and Winter Storms.

here in Tulsa, Oklahoma where a Major Sorting Plant sits for the USPO, they had over 150 Semi-Trailers full of mail and packages to be sorted, and then routed to the Delivery Post Offices....

the sorting plant at DFW was also flooded, so the mail was all sent to OKC and Tulsa to be sorted out.

part of that occurred because of the huge storms that flooded Houston, TX and put that USPO sorting plant under water..... took them 8 weeks to repair the sorting machines, dry out the building, and get back to work again.... the long time was because of Covid, and short staffing...

Then about 5 weeks ago, the Sorting Machines in Tulsa broke down..... they are Ancient, and need to be replaced, but Budget allowances won't allow for that, so they make do, with what they have.

Thank you John for the info, I didn't know what caused such delays. The thing about Partszilla due to C-19 is that they won't ship to Argentina.
Today I called an local Honda reseller and found out they can order the part from Japan, with a estimate delivery of 130 days.
Anyhow we're heading into winter, and 4 months without riding won't be too bad.
Searching ebay, there are few vendors from China offering it (cheaper), with less time lapse; but I don't trust (cuality means) them too much.
I'm analizing another chance, some airliner crew could bring it to me real fast (more costly).
As you can see, I've lots of info to evaluate and decide, I hope to do it this week.

For the diaphragm, I would recommend going with a Honda original part. I found that they are much more expensive than aftermarket parts, but on critical items, I would only go with original. Also, because of the labor time involved getting to it and replacing it, it makes sense to go with the higher quality original part. I replaced both of mine a couple of years ago. One of them had a number of pinholes, but strangely enough, it was still running quite well. I was rebuilding the carbs because of a slight bit of fuel leakage, and then discovered that the one diaphragm was no good. If I were you, I would consider replacing both of them at the same time. The other thing a mechanic told me, if the original lasted over 25 years, why not get the right replacement part that could last another 25 years (not that I'll need that much time).
