Windshield Chrome Garnish

Post by aholloway17 »

I purchased a used chrome Garnish for my 94 which replaced the plain aluminum one. I was told all are the same but that I found not be true as this one does not fit the contour of my 94 interstate. Does anyone know if there is a chrome garish that does fit?

Cheers

Allen

It will fit if you get the correct bracket. New they came with one. You might see if the seller still has it, if not, one of the salvage yards on eBay might be your best bet.

You need to remove the black plastic trim along with the aluminum garnish. The new bracket bolts to the headlight mounting bolts.

Always stuff rags, masking tape and magnets around the screws that attach to the adjuster clamps, behind the mirrors. There is a black hole that absorbs all screws and washers, never to be seen again.
