Just wondering if anyone knows what is causing my tail/marker lights to flash constantly in a 1,2,3,4,pause....1,2,3,4,pause, continuously from the moment key is turned on until turned off. The bike is an 88 gl1500. I apologize if this is asked in the wrong place, I searched and found nothing on this topic.
Thank you, and thanks for the great forum !

Iffin I was a betting man,I suspect a aftermarket alarm system. The marker light circuit had nothing that would do that.

Re: Constant flashing tail lights
Thank you, I had one guy tell me it was like a fault code. I will look into finding an alarm, although I have no idea where that would be located. There is a terrifying amount of wires on these things!
I certainly appreciate your answer though. Cheers

I have a 88.There are no fault code indicator's on this bike.look under the left pocket, around the fuse box.Suspect any small box with non oem color code wiring especially if the box is wire tied or the wires are "T" tapped into the bikes harness.Take pictures and post them for confirmation.

Thanks, I will look into that asap. It DOES have a little brake light modulator box wired in under the seat, near the fuse box there.

Re: Constant flashing tail lights
That will do that if it was wired into the wrong circuit.
