Hi,
Is there a way to tell the antennas apart other that taking them off and looking for part numbers? Is there a physical difference. I have tow identical antennas on my 98 SE and i don't know if I have two radio or two cb ant. And will either attend work for the cb? My radio works fine but not the cb so I'm guessing I have two radios ant but I just want to be sure.
Thanks,
Bud.

The CB antenna will have a loading coil in the middle of the whip.

My radio works fine but not the cb
Explain what you mean about the cb, please
poor reception, poor transmitting. noise or ????
First, make sure the antenna is attached to to the radio. Tune the SWR

Re: cb or radio antenna
The CB antenna works fine with the broadcast radio.
Both antennas connect with Motorola plugs, which are located under the seat. Make sure that they are both connected.

Re: cb or radio antenna
My apologies for taking so long to get back to this and I apologize for my useless "it doesn't work" question.
The antenna cable are both plugged in under the seat. The radio works fine on FM (I don't listen to AM). The CB powered on, I can adjust the channel. I can turn the squelch knob all the way CCW (7 or 8 o'clock) I get static and RX on the LCD. Turn the knob to about 9 o'clock and the static goes away and the RX goes out.
Thanks.
