Weather stripping...
Can anyone tell me where I can find the equivalent to the rubber weather stripping affixed to the chrome engine covers on a GL1500. It is #22 in the diagram. Also what adhesive should I use? https://www.cheapcycleparts.com/oempart ... gine-guard

Those are molded to fit and snap on. Why not just use the real Honda part?

If you do find an adhesive that works, let me know. I've tried everything under the sun, and it still comes loose.

I used a hot glue gun and so far they are staying put.

I used 3M Auto Advanced Yellow Super Trim Adhesive. The Honda OEM weather stripping does come with very light and weak adhesive coating but I didn't trust it...

Shoe Goo?
Remember that you can use an "external" adhesive on the back side of the cover, on trim that has already been installed, rather than only what little doesn't get squoze out of the trim when you put it on.
