My '99 has a set that look very much like those, but the mounts don't look anything like yours, not even close.

Yeah that's why I was interested never saw before either. Thought maybe a retro floor board

Look like the Markland boards that I am trying to sell, but the mounts on mine wedge between the upper and lower engine guard tubes, which you don't have.

I was thinking the same.
Markland boards and some generic mounting kit?

Those engine guards don't look like mine. It looks like you're right about a generic mounting kit.
