Honda stealer prices

Post by jdn40 »

I lost a side cover on the highway the other day . Went to Honda and it was close to $500 dollars for a piece of plastic ! Found one on eBay for $92.00 . I couldn’t believe Honda was charging so much , incredible .

Amazing they even had one, as those have been discontinued for some time. Be sure to replace the grommets to avoid a repeat, and think about attaching a lanyard to prevent it.

Don’t know that they had one . I looked it up online at my local dealer . I had replaced the grommets and am going to put some kind of lanyard on . I saw a post in the how to section , might look that one up again for sure .

They most likely didn't actually have one. Dealerships don't keep that stuff in stock, they order it in as needed. When they attempted to order it in for you, they would have discovered that it's not been available for a very long time.

Used parts are our only option now.
