I have a new sight glass kit for my 88 gl1500 for the clutch and front brake reservoir. How do i get old glass out? Do i just punch it out with a screwdriver? Or is there a snap ring ect holding it together?

The old "glass" is actually plastic, so yes, just pry it out with a screwdriver.

Did the replacement sight glass come with any installation instructions?

Thanks Mike, that might become a winter project for me. Now I have to search for the right size glass for my 96 Aspencade. I’m assuming Honda makes them fairly universal to fit most of their master cylinders.MikeB wrote: ↑Mon Aug 16, 2021 10:55 pmYou tube is your friend.
