Sudden power failure at highway speed. No fire
While riding at highway speed, my 98SE suddenly shut off like the stop switch was turned off. Now everything powers up but no response from starter. If you jump across solenoid starter will crank but no fire. For the past year I've noticed the main power switch box would get extremely hot while riding but never had an issue. Ideas?

or the fuel pump is faulty, or the bank angle sensor is faulty

Test all of the fuses in the panel with a test light.

Not sure what you mean by this.Tshoemaker74401 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 27, 2021 4:41 pm For the past year I've noticed the main power switch box would get extremely hot while riding but never had an issue.
Great suggestions so far. Maybe kick stand switch? Would be a non-issue if failure continues while in neutral.
