I installed one in my 96 Aspencade roughly 4 years ago and it has worked flawlessly. Top quality so far.

2nd hand info,
I have read several posts where 1500 owners replaced it and no problems.

I replaced mine a few years ago. The only thing that I may recommend is the part where they tell you to put the backing for the screen, there are two color options blue or white. They indicated to put the blue. It looks cool and all, but I should have put in the white. Closer to what stock was and easier to see. Get the bulbs too. They are like 10 bucks but worth it. Good luck

I agree. When I replaced all my dash lights with LEDs originally, I used blue because I thought it would look cool. Which it did...except for actually reading the dash, at night. The contrast on the LCD was so terrible that you could barely make it out at night. And the "red" warning sections of the temp and fuel gauges was completely invisible - it was not lit up at all.

I ended up pulling it out and replacing them with white LEDs. As you can see, the numbers and LCD still show "blue" even with the white LEDs, but it is far more readable, and the red warning sections of the gauges now show up again:

With white LEDs
With white LEDs

So, you used blue LEDs, then replaced the blue LEDs with blue LEDs because the blue LEDs worked better than the blue LEDs.
