Post by RickR »

Greetings I have searched an cant seem to find an am wondering if they make any,
I have lights that I want to add to the bike but need to know if they make a Splitter the will connect to the Blinker front wire harness an make it TWO instead of ONE. so I can add the other lights to it as well.

As you know, when it comes to the GL1500, many things that were available over the years are becoming harder to find.

I don't see the exact thing you asked for. But, for plug and play, you can insert a trailer harness (with or without the splitter relays) which will give you extra wires for turn signals, brake and tail lights. You can, of course just tap the wires. I would recommend Posi-Tap brand.

One thing to look for, there is a harness to convert the fairing side lights into directionals and another to do the same with the trunk or saddlebag side lights. If you use these harnesses, the normal condition in ON and when the factory turn signal comes ON, the attached lights go OFF. So the attached light will blink but alternate with the factory light.
