cornering light wiring harness

Post by fibersport »

My friend who bought my '90 Goldwing is trying to put the cornering lights in. He has the lenses, bulbs and trim but doesn't have the small wiring harness or pigtail that goes from the bike wiring harness to the bulb. I guess it's maybe about 6" long or so. I looked at different parts listings but can't find it. Anyone know any information on it? He's not on the internet much so I'm helping him out. Any assistance is appreciated.

'02 GL1800 lives in Dawsonville, GA now.
My son is going to enjoy it for many years to come.

So he doesn't have the sockets that the bulbs go in?

Correct, he does not have the sockets. I don't think the bike came with the lights originally. One of the previous owners put in aftermarket lenses and trim rings, when I had the bike I never got to connecting them up. My friend is one of those meticulous guys who does everything just right, in this case he would rather find the sockets than rig something up (if they're available somewhere that is).

Might want to call show chrome/big bike parts and ask if they will sell you what you need.
