give Travis McCauley a call, he is a school teacher for San Marcos, TX
assume he lives near there, but he is damn good at all things 1500.

His forum name is US385 South,
on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/travis.mcculley1

I used to have his ph# but don't seem to find it now, guess it didn't survive 3 phone upgrades

I sent him a note with this link of Facebook, he will probably see it later today after school.

Have you checked the cam belts and timing. also for air leaks around the rubber hoses. If you have had the plug leads off check there on the right way

Yeah thanks for that . the timing belts are new . as far as hoses go the honda tech did fix one or two when they had it .the only thing i told them was check the fuel lines after all there only 30 years old to make sure they are in good condition . dude (tech guy ) said they LOOKED fine (right how do you see in side the line ?) all i can say is the very 1st time honda overhauled the carbs they worked great for about three months then after that the slowly crapped out .and every time after that when they Claimed to have Fixed them again . they would only last a short time then crap out . so im pretty sure its carb related .but im not sure what it is . ive recently found a shop in the next town over from S A that said they could repair it . so im gonna wait till next year and see if i can get it over to them unless of course one of y'all turn me on to some one closer .

The timing belts are new? How new? Did these issues crop up around the time of the timing belt change?
