It looks like I'm going to be taking so much tupperware off the bike that it's going to be stripped down to the fairing and that's pretty much it. While I have everything off, I was thinking it might be a good idea to give everything a thorough cleaning and then apply a ceramic finish so I won't have to wax the bike for a while. I figure I can do everything but the fairing on the bench, part by part, and do a high quality job.
Does anyone have experience doing this, positive or negative? Any advice on products, techniques, etc.? How many coats did you apply?
Thanks for any insights.
