Removing fuse box cover

Post by UncleStu62 »

Hi folks, I'm struggling to remove the fuse box cover on my 92 GL1500. Not the relay box cover, just the fuse box to the left of the relay box. I can see it, but I can't get it to come off. I can see some kind of clip on the top, and nothing on the bottom, but no matter how I try I can't get the darn thing off. I don't want to force it off, so any hints/tips/tricks would be appreciated.

Remove the two 6mm retaining bolts that hold the fuse box. With it loose you have enough space to remove the cover easily.

Success! Once I could wiggle it a bit, I saw the bottom clip.
Thanks for the tip
Cheers!
