I am not sure if I posed this puzzling issue to the forum before. I have replaced all of the incandescent bulbs on my 99' GL1500 SE and installed LED flashers but, for some reason if I attempt to replace the running/brake light in the right corner of the trunk (orientation facing forward standing behind the bike) I get weird irregular flashing. Mind you this still occurred even without the LED flashers installed if I attempted to replace that single solitary bulb with a LED.
AS long as I leave the stock bulb in place there is no issue but, it is just annoying because the stock bulb runs much dimmer than my other LED bulbs in the rear and it is noticeable. I tell you this is mind boggling for sure...

Re: Rogue, odd brake light/LED
Probably a grounding issue, or corrosion in a plug. The hi amps of an incandescent will burn through it, but not the low current of an LED.
Re: Rogue, odd brake light/LED
The plug is pretty clean no corrosion or anything like that. If there was a ground somewhere then the bulb would just keep blowing out correct? Also my bike has a "Tailblazer" deceleration warning installed by the previous owner which causes the spoiler LED to pulse/flash when the brakes are applied. I'm still at lost
