no neutral light no crack

hi I have a 97 Honda Goldwing that has no neutral light and will not crank over but will start if I jump the selenoid does anybody have an idea where I should start I checked all the fuses and relays everything seems to be working fine I rode the bike yesterday and had no problem neutral light was on started right up everything worked and today when I went out no neutral light will not crank but will start if I jump solenoid and everything on the bike works except for neutral light and reverse please help

I would start with the reverse lever switch. A faulty switch can cause what you are experiencing.
