I was finishing up installing the shifter brace on my '96 GL1500, after installing (with new shifter seal) it would not shift up except into neutral. I started taking it back apart to see if there was some interference I did not see before and as I was trying to open up the pinch opening to get the shifter off, it broke in two. So needless to say I need a shifter lever, does anyone know if they are still available new? Or a good replacement? I can get it welded up, but its life span will be unknown after that, don't want to loose my shifter going down the highway at all.
Thanks in advanced.

I'm trying to find a similar site in Canada where the shipping isn't $20 USD.

I didn't notice your location. I actually saw one on ebay and didn't include it since it was in Canada.

You can also just get your local Honda dealer to order it for you or if you're lucky they have a dusty one still on the shelf.

I just got one off ebay when I got rid of my floorboards/ Heel/toe shifter and have had no issues with it.

Called the local Honda dealer, I will have a new one in a week for 85 Canadian dollars.
