GL1500 Exhaust

Post by bbrackett »

GL1500 Exhaust, installed Straight Pipes, Ran awesome, no noticeable decrease/increase in mileage due to me twistin the grip a bit more than usual :-)
yes, there is no exhaust clamp on the connection at the headers (great exhaust tech, also ex-motocross racer )
I ran straight headers for a couple weeks.. annoying as heck, omg.. loved it, but can't hear the radio
I could barely hear the Harleys either LOL !!

cost me $60, previously removed the intermediate exhaust

sorry.. lots of wind :-) ... you might get the idea..

Went back to my 90s Mufflers I grabbed from another GW Owner.

That sounds great. I put harley mufflers on my rsv, sounded similar. Now you’ve got me thinking again.
I’d rather be lucky than smart
