I have a '92 Gold Wing that I bought new, been riding it for 30 yrs. with 161,000 mi. and they are all mine !! My problem is my CB receives but won't transmit. I plugged in a second CB unit from my parts bike, same thing, receives but won't transmit. I tried a second headset, same thing. I plugged into the passenger connector & used it's push to talk & same thing. I tried another antenna, same thing. I pulled & cleaned every connector related to the CB & cleaned them, same thing !! Has anybody had this problem that could give me some suggestions ??

Re: CB Radio Won't Transmit
When I use the push to talk button, the TX lights up in the CB's screen & I can hear a clicking noise in my trucks CB that I'm testing with.

Re: CB Radio Won't Transmit
You might want to search here for a CB issue a few months/years back. It seems that some of these units have problems with some receivers especially at close range. I don't remember if the problem was ever solved.
If you are getting something on your receiver it's obviously putting out RF power, but no idea if that is a properly modulated signal.
If you can, try it with other radios.
