Unused cable bundle

Post by ltetz »

While getting my engine running I found a cable bundle that appeared unused. Where pairs appear connected together. Can anyone tell me what it's for?

Just guessing here, but that looks like it could be speaker wires.
If you have front and rear speakers, there should be a knob just by the key for front/back fader control. I'm guessing these wires went there, somebody removed it and just spliced the wires together.
This fader arrangement is pretty dodgy, not up to the usual honda quality, looks like an afterthought.

Yes there is a potentiometer below and left of key. It currently has no connections. I do have front and rear speakers. So that could be it
Thank you
