I have been searching for an hour now. No luck. Will an 88 gl1500 clutch basket assembly fit a 95 gl1500
??

The basket itself will. The two share part numbers for most of the clutch stack so they should interchange.

From what i could find a couple of the plates are different. I wasn't sure about the basket. Thanks.

The center is the only part number that is different. There are a bunch of disc versions and at least one of each type is a match. At worst swap out the center. Of course if you don't know the history, either one or both could have had an aftermarket clutch installed so all bets are off. Many aftermarket clutches have thinner discs so they can add an extra. Although Barnett stayed with 10 discs, but no idea if they did the three kinds in the stack like Honda did. (I doubt it) Barnett still offers discs, plates and springs, so there are options. They also cover from 88-96 so you are right in that mix.

i ended up going with barnett plates. The one i was looking at sold. Thanks
