Dunlop Elite 4 Tires

Can't find a front Dunlop Elite 4 anywhere; none in stock anytime soon. Would like opinions on other brands for the GL1500.

I was looking for those tires as well. Couldn't find them anywhere. I ended up getting the Shinko SE890 Journey Touring Tire. Only one with both tires in stock. They just came in haven't even installed them yet.

I want to stick with bias ply tires. I believe those are radials; let us know how you like them. I tried a set of radials on my 1988 Kawasaki & didn't like the way they rode compared to the bias; seemed like they gave the cycle a gyro effect.

Tried them; front not available. I called before charging to my card and was told not available; however the site will let you add to cart and place the order. Go figure...

Last summer I went to my local dealer for a new front tire, they had the E4 in stock at that time.

https://www.sunent.com/

You might give them a call to see if they still have them or can get them, they might ship to Wisconsin...

Are there reasons NOT to use the Dunlop American Elite series on Amazon, shipping from Powersports Superstore?

I put one on the front because it was all I could get at the time. It handles fine, but I do notice more tire noise while cornering.

160/80-16 rear not offered for the rear in the American Elite; I always replace tires in a matching set.
