Rear Brake, what is this?

I replace my rear brakes and a thin piece of pressed metal fell out while I was removing the brake caliper and I have no idea where it goes?

I'm thinking it's part of an anti-vibration system, no extra hardware came with my new calipers.
Any ideas as to where it goes? Thanks!

Yup, fell out of mine, didn't notice it..
my squealing stopped after a while
