Follow up to Mute question

Lots looked at the question so I am guessing I am not the only person that has had a problem with the mute button.
I spoke with Sierra Electronics and was told the the mute button has been a problem for some time and that they would bypass the whole thing internally.
I sent my radio to them and asked that they install the switch for the AUX system.
While they had the unit they noticed that most of the lights were burned out also.
I had them fix all that and received the unit back yesterday and installed it today and all is well.
So, yes, the Mute switch will prevent you from changing stations and create all sorts of problems which can all be cured by Sierra Electronics quickly and for a nice price.
