Engine and saddlebag protection bars

Post by SirGB »

I’m trying to find an after market company that sells engine and saddlebag protection bars that are cheaper than the OEM offered by Honda for my 1997 GL1500SE which sells for about 2000.00.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Add-On Accessories made them years ago, but you're going to be either looking for used ones, or a set of new old stock ones like these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/383952749596

I'd like to find some that actually give some protection in case of a drop. I haven't dropped it yet but the day is coming.

The stock Honda ones give great protection from drops. Don't ask me how I know.

Not a scratch on mine after this. The OEM ones are fine.
