I have been thinking of converting my goldwing into a trike . I was looking at the voyageur kit , has anyone used a kit like this . I would appreciate any feed back .

I have a Richland Roadster outrigger style kit on my bike and am not really impressed with it. It's not that it's worse than other add on kits like this but that the "hang on" design makes for a poor ride and turns that are sometimes scarey. The front tire is going to push on a trike and that's just how a bike that was designed to lean in a turn does when it has to stand straight up in a turn (and may even lean in the wrong direction) is going to make you slow down to regular car speeds and sometimes even less but it is a LOT cheaper than a full trike kit. I am learing to tolerate it but will never like it as much as riding on two wheels, if you are like me at 71 and can't risk dropping the bike due to lack of strength and balance it might be an option but if I had it to do over I would either get a bike that already has a full trike kit on it or better yet get a leg up landing gear type system to get the best of both worlds.
