alternator noise over radio

i have recently started to get that high pitch noise over the speakers. is there something i need to get to suppress the noise. i tired the magnet on some of the wires to the radio. but not helping. is the condesor for the alternator needs work or is there something else i need to do. any suggestions

The condenser on the alternator is what should stop the whine in the radio speakers.

where can i buy a replacement condenser. and do i have to remove the altenator

Any stereo installation shop would have a condenser that would work but before buying anything take the left side plastic panels off and check the condenser appearance. On mine the mounting bracket which is soldered on had come loose and since I don't use the radio I just took it off. If yours has come apart you might try just resoldering the bracket and since it is right on the top of the alternator I don't think that you would need to remove the whole alternator to repair/replace it (it's been awhile since I did this so %memory%).
