Hi all,
My first post here, My uncle gave me a 93 GL1500SE it had sat since 2009 and it took a bit to get it running again but I am glad to say its running like a sewing machine . I was trying to do the radio mod by adding the 3.5mm aux cord to the motherboard. The volume is very low when I plug it in to my music player and insert a cassette tape in the radio . I have two questions 1. would it make a difference if I left the blank tape in the cassette or does it have to be removed ? and 2. in the attached pic did I solder the left/right channels in the correct side of the c139/c140 component or should it be on the other side where I marked the board with sharpie ?
Thanks Stacy

Re: 3.5mm aux jack radio mod
I got it figured out, the tope does have to be removed from the cassette.
