Replacing my valve case gaskets 1997 GL1500

Hi everyone, I hope the Christmas holidays have been good...
My question is:
do I put a bit of oil on the new rubber qaskets, put nothing, or put something else to help seal
The gaskets?

While I haven't replaced them on my wing, all of the other engines I have replaced the v/c gaskets on I wanted them totally dry and the head surface wiped off with solvent. When I didn't they tended to seep oil.

None at all - you want the case surface, cover and the gaskets all dry and clean.
