Quietest tires?
Can anyone comment on what are the quietest front tires to use on my GL1500A? It came with Dunlops, they wore out and I have been using a Shinko for the last 4000 miles. It has always been very noisy - lots of hum, no matter what the pressure. Thanks!

Bridgestone G701, but a lot of the noise is potentially coming from the rear tire, not the front.
Several 130/70R18 tires are available, just check the tire capacity (weight) to be certain it would work in your application.

My wing came to me with Dunlops on it. They positively HOWLED in turns.
Switched to Michelin Commander on the front and a Austone Taxi tire on the rear.
Beautifully quiet.

My guess would be racing slicks are the quietest.

Very funny, but unfortunately (or fortunately) illegal for street use in most places.
