What is this trim made out of?

What is this trim made out of?
Can anyone tell me if this is brushed aluminum or plastic? I just do not want to try and clean it up if it is plastic, if it brushed aluminum I know what to do. It is the trim along the top of the trunk.

It is ABS plastic. On later model years they used chromed ABS plastic.
