What would cause power lost on a 1500 ... if your doing 70 ... and go up a hill ... speed will drop to 50 with the throttle wide open... has anyone experience this ???

Plugged fuel filter? Weak fuel pump?
A local inventor has figured a way to turn a sausage grinder backward to manufacture pigs.

Has a new fuel filter... and a new after market fuel pump .... Im at wits end .... with a good pump ... would you know how long it would take to fill a gallon jug or how to judge a weak fuel pump ???

There is a spec and test in the service manual.

You can also drive around with a fuel pressure gauge to see if you can't maintain pressure.

It is then likely a defective auto petcock or loss of vacuum to it which will limit fuel flow.

I had time to go through the suggestions I got from members .. and tested all of them... was looking at the fuel lines and saw where a fuel hose had a 90 degrees pinch... when redoing the fuel lines made one a little to long... shorten the line and... BINGO... all is good ... want to thank everyone who offered suggestions .. they were all good ... so the winter project is over ... again.... thanks to all
