Well, I've come this far I may as well attempt a trunk setback to give the Mrs. a little more room.
Wish me luck.

Or you could leave the trunk in the same place and just move everything else forward.

I was looking on Wingstuff for my GL1100 and saw they have a relocation kit for the trunk...... do they have one for your bike?

Re: Trunk setback
I've never seen a premade kit for sale. I opted to skip the relocation and just get the bike back together. The Mrs. is having major hip issues. I may be loosing my passenger

Not if she is vigilant during the PT and pushing through the pain. It will be worth it!

Re: Trunk setback
The biggest problem with moving the 1500 trunk back is it is molded to match up to the bags and then looks sort of unfinished when moved! I thought of that for my 1st 1500. Now my wife can not ride for more than about 10 minutes because of some back and leg issues. Believe me we have tried to ride double several times. She even has pain sometimes on trips in our Caravan! Bummer!! But she is kind enough to let me wander about myself so far!
