I have a 99 Goldwing se,1500 with champion escort sidecar, I need information on installing a car tire on the rear wheel of the Goldwing, has anyone done this?

Welcome to the forum.
Many have had success with less toroidal tires on the GL1500, two wheelers and hacks (the slang term for this is Darkside). Do a search on Darkside and read the pros and cons of this experiment. There are even some sidecar rigs with a car tire on the front!

I have an Austone taxi tyre on the rear of my 1500. It’s now done about 25000 mls and has, at a guess, another 2000 mls to go before replacement. No problems with it whatsoever.
