I need to remove the fairing on my 1993 GL1500 SE. I am experiencing a small coolant leak I need to locate and fix, plus I am getting a small amount of smoke coming from the right side vent, not sure what that is. Has anyone removed all the front fairing from the gas tank forward, and is there a step by step instructions with possible pictures. Any help would be appreiciated.
Thanks,
RICK

Have a look through the GL1500 DIY area. Plenty of Step by step instructions. You can also download an e-manual if you don't have a hard copy. Performing a key word search in the GL1500 Information and Questions area (where you have posted this question) is a good place to start for diagnostics threads related to similar topics. I've found both incredibly useful. Once you've done that, if you have a specific question not covered already, you'll find the members here very helpful. Good luck tracking down that leak. I am on a similar hunt at the moment.
