96 GL1500SE - New Owner

Post by palant »

Hi, my name is Tony and I'm new here. I'm from Czech Republic. I use google translate so please excuse any mistakes. My wife and I bought a 1996 Goldwing 1500 SE last fall. I have spent many winter evenings reading this forum. I can say that I have not found a better one on the Internet. I especially appreciate your detailed instructions in the DIY section. They helped me with repairs I didn't know how to do. I saved a lot of money that way. For example I replaced the timing belts, disassembled the rear part, lubricated the driveshaft and rear drive. I changed all the oils, including the oil in the front forks (which really needed it), cleaned the brake calipers and much more. I made support for the shifter pivot brace according to the drawing on this forum . Thanks again for this forum, I will keep following it. OK
