Starter relay A clicks
My 2000 Asp cranks runs well ... but have no reverse.... the light on the Meter shows it is in Reverse with the R light .. when start button on the handlebars is pressed for reverse ... the Starter Relay A clicks ... the relay right of the battery.... does this mean the relay is bad ... or is this indicating something else is bad ... reverse has always worked before

What about starter relay B? Is it working? Have you checked the two 5A reverse fuses near the battery?

I havent looked at those two.... I have checked the two fuses in the fusebox and the 65 amp fuse under the seat and relay ... the linkage is where it should be ... but will check the fuses to the left of the battery

The problem has been solved.... what it was... was the brake lever itself ... I installed the left and right pods on the handlebars ... I also installed new clutch and brake switches at the same time ... the Cruise work one time and then it didnt anymore which was mind boggling.... for some reason the new Honda brake switch had a long throw to engage and disengage ... file a bit on the brake lever to get a clear signal for the cruise to work properly ... everything works and so excited
