Brake light strobe module

I installed an led strobe module on the brake lights on the chrome trim w/brake lights that wraps around the recess for the license plate and the spoiler brake light. The problem is with the one I attached to the spoiler brake light. It just didn't flash at all. I thought I just got a bad strobe module so I ordered another one....same thing! Should I be using a different module? Is there too many amps being used by this light for this module? This is the modules I bought:

There are some auxiliary brake lights that I think were added to this circuit but they are led also and are connected before the place I added the module. [YouTube][/YouTube]
