Oil pressure gauge on 1997 GoldWing gl1500 SE

Hello all,
I’ve finally located the aftermarket Fire Creek dash add on for gauges and am having an issue with the installation of the oil pressure gauge and retaining the low oil pressure light on the instrument panel. Has anyone installed what I’m trying to do and if so do you know what size and type of brass fittings are required so I can keep the low oil pressure light and install the Equus Oil Pressure Gauge I already purchased. I also want to replace the plastic tubing that came with the gauge and use copper tubing instead.
Any help or suggestions before stripping down the plastic panels around the engine only to find out it is not possible.

As I recall it's just 1/8" JIS tapered pipe thread. I think it's close enough to use BSPT or NPT. You will need a tee. Maybe a run tee will fit?

See this thread, there's a link for a BSPT -to NPT adapter with a BSPT port so you can use the stock oil pressure sensor and have NPT connections too.

Worked out very well on my 1500.
