Parking lights and gauges keep going out!!

Somebody help! I have replaced fuse eight and relay three. But my parking/running lights, and my fuel gauge and temperature gauge keep going off and blowing fuse number eight. What do I need to look at next?

Any aftermarket lights? That's always the first place I would look. You need to go over all the wiring looking for a rub through, rodent damage, or most likely, PO damage. Measuring voltage and current in some key locations can help narrow things down.

I am the second owner of this bike. The original owner turned all of the reflectors into lights and added a purple ring of fire on the front wheel. Everything has been fine for about five years now, but this just happened. When I rode the bike today, everything was fine until the temperature gage got close to 3/4 of the way up. As long as it stayed below that it was fine.
