'94 Aspencade newley purchased

Post by Jeffrey268 »

Hello Everyone new rider on deck as i have picked up a 94 aspencade today with 35k on the clock. It is amazing in all areas and was wondering if this year had any special problems that I should be aware of.
If I were going to the darkside what size of tire would i need or can i fine that on the web site?

Thanks,
Jeffrey268

Nope, no problems with that year.
The only years I would avoid are 88 and 89 only because
the rear swingarm and everything else back there is different.
Good luck with your new bike!
(and with only 35k on it, it truly IS a new bike!)
Before you do anything, CHANGE THE TIMING BELTS!
Those are old and probably dried out.
Use only Gates or Napa belts.
It's an interference engine. If you break a belt, goodbye engine!

The belts you want are Gates T275

Incidentally, you can find links to a vast array of parts in our Cross-Reference Par Numbers thread.

Hey good folks,
Can anyone tell me if the aspencade has a intercom? I know there isn't a CB but is there a intercom because there is a com hook up for the pillon.

Thank,

Yes. There should also be one for the rider by the left faring pocket.
