A sort of purple lurgi has started to creep across the LCD display in my GL1500 instrument panel.
I’m told new ones are no longer available is there another solution?
Preferably one that doesn’t involve the sacrifice of an arm or a leg.

There was a place that would rebuild the display. Not sure if they are still doing that. You can search here and at goldwingfacts for details.
There is also an aftermarket display with more bells and whistles.
