I’ve got an annoying heavy rattle coming from the front wheel area. If I apply light pressure to the handlebar brake lever the noise stops. I’ve taken the right hand disc trim off and if I grab the brake caliper and rattle it about it makes this rattling noise. There is a lot of movement in the slide pins, is this movement normal?
Anyone else had this problem?
The brake works perfectly but thanks to our pothole ridden roads the noise is loud and very frequent.

Not normal at all. My guess would be torn or missing pin bush boots have let moisture in and corroded the pins and bores. Time to take apart and inspect. Replace the bad parts, grease the pins and install new boots.

Thanks,
Will do.
I hope the parts are still available.

All the small parts are no problem. Any good machine shop can re-bush the calipers if they are too worn as that part is discontinued. The TRAC system could also cause things to rattle around if it has problems.
